Instrument Technician

Al-Kuwait is looking for a motivated and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will maintain, install, calibrate, and repair instrumentation used in the production process.

Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all instrumentation and related equipment.
• Calibrate, adjust, and program instruments to ensure proper operation.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on instruments on a timely basis.
• Complete installation of new systems or upgrades on existing instrumentation systems.
• Develop maintenance schedules for instrumentation and related equipment.
• Identify defective parts or components and recommend solutions to ensure optimal performance of instruments.
• Keep up with technological advancements in the field of instrumentation by attending seminars or reading technical literature.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent degree/certification in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred; however, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

• A minimum of three years’ experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting is required; knowledge of PLCs is beneficial.

• Ability to read blueprints and drawings to identify wiring connections, components, and other details related to the installation/repair/calibration process is essential.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot instrumentation issues quickly and accurately are necessary for success in this role.

• Must have excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other technicians on complex projects when needed.

Salary: 1200 KWD per month (We are ready to consider an immigrant)
