Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting laboratory experiments and tests to analyze chemical components of substances
- Preparing samples for advanced analysis or research purposes
- Analyzing data from experiments or tests and reporting findings to supervisors or colleagues
- Developing new laboratory techniques or processes as needed for research purposes
- Maintaining accurate records of experiments, results, and methods used
- Operating sophisticated laboratory equipment such as electron microscopes or mass spectrometers

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
- Knowledge of chemical processes and principles
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks appropriately
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
