Job Summary
Painter in Doha is a great opportunity to join a professional team of creative professionals working in the construction industry. This position offers a competitive salary of 1400 QAR per month with potential for growth.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Painter is responsible for all aspects of painting work including surface preparation, application of paint, staining, varnishing, wallpaper installation, repairing existing finishes, taping and masking surfaces before painting, as well as clean up afterwards. The Painter should also be able to identify any potential problems with surfaces before they start painting and take corrective action if necessary. The Painter must also follow safety rules to minimize risk when using ladders or other tools/equipment.

Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced painter who has at least 3 years’ experience in the trade. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be able to follow directions accurately. Knowledge of different types of paints, stains, varnishes and wallpapers is important as well as the ability to mix colors correctly according to specifications. A valid driver’s licence is required due to extensive travel between sites that will be required. Previous experience working in Qatar or the Middle East would be advantageous but not essential as training can be provided on site if required. We are also prepared to consider applications from immigrants who meet the necessary criteria outlined above.

Requirements
