Accountant – Dubai
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Accountant to join our team in Dubai. This is a full-time position, offering a salary of 1,300 AED per month.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate, timely and reliable financial reporting to management, developing and maintaining accounting systems, analyzing financial information, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The job duties include:

• Maintaining the accuracy of financial records by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts on a regular basis.
• Performing daily bookkeeping activities such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations and other accounting related tasks.
• Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements accurately and timely.
• Analyzing financial data to identify trends or discrepancies that may require further investigation or attention.
• Developing internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Assisting with the preparation of budgets for management review.
• Advising on tax matters related to the business’s operations in Dubai.
• Liaising with external auditors during annual audits.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all business related information at all times.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance along with 3+ years’ experience in a similar role in the UAE or abroad (for foreigners). The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks is desirable but not mandatory. Additionally, the candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent time management abilities to meet deadlines effectively.
