Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our kitchen team at our restaurant in Doha, Qatar. The salary on offer is 1100 USD per month. We are open to considering applications from immigrants.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality dishes according to restaurant recipes with speed and accuracy
• Ensure all food products are correctly stored, handled and prepared with hygiene standards adhered to at all times
• Manage the kitchen team effectively, providing guidance, training and support as required
• Monitor stock levels in the kitchen and order items as needed
• Train junior chefs on the job in food production techniques
• Provide creative input into menu ideas, recipe development and presentation of dishes
• Work closely with other departments such as front-of-house staff when required

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience of at least 2 years working as a Chef in busy kitchens
• A passion for cooking creatively within a fine-dining environment
• Ability to manage a kitchen team effectively, providing guidance when needed
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations within the kitchen environment
• Good organizational skills with an eye for detail • Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
