Dental Assistant job in Sharjah UAE


We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our practice in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance and other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
• Provide chair-side assistance to dentists, including setting up instruments and materials, handing instruments as requested, and suctioning.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping all surfaces clean and orderly.
• Prepare impression materials and other dental materials as instructed by the dentist.
• Take X-rays as requested by the dentist following the correct techniques.
• Ensure that all dental instruments are properly sterilized and disinfected according to accepted infection control procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the dentist or Practice Manager.

Qualifications:
• A minimum of one year experience working in a dental practice is preferred but we are ready to consider an immigrant with relevant qualifications, such as a Dental Assistant Certificate or Diploma from an accredited school.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic would be beneficial but not a requirement for this role.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail is essential in this role.
• Knowledge of basic dental terminology is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation: This position offers a competitive salary of 1300 AED per month plus benefits, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
