Librarian vacancy in Jabal-Ali UAE for foreigners


We are looking for a qualified Librarian to join our team in Jabal-Ali. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an international environment with diverse cultural perspectives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and organizing our library collection, as well as providing assistance to patrons. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills, be computer literate, and have a passion for books and knowledge.

Responsibilities include:
- Cataloging and maintaining library materials
- Assisting patrons with reference questions
- Recommending books to patrons
- Staying up to date on new library materials
- Developing and maintaining library policies
- Developing educational programs for the community
- Coordinating events and programs at the library

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- At least one year of experience working in a library setting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of various computer programs including MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

We offer a competitive salary of 1400 AED per month. We are also open to considering immigrant candidates.
