Position: Truck Driver
Location: Abu-Dhabi
Salary: 1600 AED/month

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Truck Driver to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and operating a truck to transport goods and materials, ensuring that all safety regulations are followed and that the cargo is delivered on time and in good condition.

As a Truck Driver, you should have excellent driving skills, knowledge of local laws and regulations, and be able to work independently. You must also be able to communicate effectively with customers and other personnel.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Inspect the truck before each trip to ensure that it is in good condition
• Load and unload cargo according to delivery instructions
• Follow prescribed routes or directions from dispatchers or GPS devices
• Record cargo information, vehicle mileage, fuel usage, hours of service, etc., as required by law or company policies
• Maintain accurate log books of working hours
• Secure cargo for transport using ropes, blocks, chains, etc.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Foreign applicants must obtain an international driver’s license)
• At least 2 years of experience as a truck driver
• Familiarity with safety regulations governing the transportation of goods
• Ability to read maps and follow directions accurately
• Good physical condition – able to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
