Librarian – Abu-Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library's collections, organizing resources, and providing customer service.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience as a librarian, be highly organized with excellent communication skills and strong research abilities. This position requires excellent computer skills, including experience with library technology and digital databases.

The Librarian will be responsible for:
• Organizing library materials such as books, magazines, audiovisual materials, digital media and other resources;
• Cataloging new material and adding it to the library’s database;
• Assisting patrons with reference requests;
• Updating the library’s online catalog;
• Maintaining a comfortable environment for patrons;
• Providing training on library technology and databases;
• Promoting the use of the library through outreach activities such as book clubs and reading programs.
