Psychiatrist – Doha, Qatar

Requirements for the Candidate:

• Must have a degree in Medicine and relevant qualifications and experience in psychiatry.
• Must have excellent knowledge of mental health conditions, treatments, drugs, and therapies.
• Must be able to work with diverse populations with different cultural backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
• Must be able to assess patient’s mental health situation accurately.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions using various treatment modalities such as psychotherapy, counselling, medications etc.
• Monitor patient progress throughout their treatment plan to ensure successful outcomes
• Develop individualised treatment plans according to each patient’s needs
• Provide education about mental illnesses, treatments and strategies for coping with them

Job Requirements:

• Minimum two years' work experience as a Psychiatrist or related field is desirable but not essential • Valid medical license or certificate required • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Proficient use of computer software programs (e.g., Microsoft Office)
