As a Sommelier, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and expert knowledge of wines, beers, spirits and other beverages. You will have the ability to advise customers on wine selection based on their preferences, food pairings and pricing. You will also be responsible for ordering beverages from suppliers and managing inventory levels. Additionally, you will assist in developing wine lists that meet the needs of customers while working with the restaurant's budget parameters.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent knowledge of beverage pairings, wines (regions, varieties), spirits (types/brands) and beers (styles). They must be able to create attractive wine lists that offer customers a unique experience. The successful candidate must have strong customer service skills as well as the ability to carry out duties independently or in a team setting. They should also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on their feet in order to provide the best possible customer service experience. A flexible work schedule is also essential for this role as restaurant hours may vary depending on business needs.
