Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Al-Kuwait in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medication therapies, consulting with patients, and accurately compounding and dispensing medications. This position offers a competitive salary of 1000 per month and we are willing to consider applicants from overseas.

Job Responsibilities
• Provide professional advice on the selection, dosage, interactions and side effects of medications.
• Prepare and dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions.
• Compound medications using correct procedures and techniques.
• Keep accurate records of patient profiles, drug inventories, prescriptions filled and other relevant information.
• Ensure that all dispensing activities are in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Monitor patient medication adherence by providing education about proper usage of medications.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with applicable laws.
• Perform drug utilization reviews to ensure patient safety and cost-effectiveness of medications prescribed.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field from an accredited college or university
• Current license to practice pharmacy in Kuwait or eligibility for licensure
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English & Arabic language

Desired Qualifications
• Previous experience working as a Pharmacist preferred
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to work under pressure with accuracy
