Job Summary
Instrument Technician Abu-Dhabi is recruiting an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all instrumentation onsite. The successful candidate will also ensure that all instruments are working correctly and accurately at all times. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to work with a variety of different equipment in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Instrument Technician will be to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation across the entire site. This includes but is not limited to pressure gauges, temperature transducers, flow meters, valves, switches and other related components. The successful candidate should have experience in working with a variety of manufacturers’ products and must be able to identify any potential problems or issues quickly and accurately. The Instrument Technician will also record any maintenance changes in the system logbook for future reference.

The successful candidate should also have experience working with computers as they may be required to enter data into our system or use computer-aided tools to diagnose problems or complete tasks more efficiently. Additionally they must possess excellent communication skills as they may need to liaise with other departments or personnel onsite as well as external suppliers for replacement parts or services if necessary.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within an industrial environment. A degree or equivalent qualification in instrumentation engineering would be preferred but not essential if accompanied by relevant industry experience. Additionally they must possess strong problem solving abilities and excellent time management skills as well as being able to work independently or part of a team when needed. They must also be fluent in English both written and spoken for this role in Abu-Dhabi.
