Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Waiter to join our team at our restaurant located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while taking orders accurately and efficiently. Additionally, you will be required to prepare tables, serve food and drinks, clear dishes, stock up on supplies, and ensure that safety regulations are followed.

Responsibilities:
• Greet customers upon arrival and provide menus; answer any questions about the menu items or daily specials
• Take orders accurately and deliver them promptly to the kitchen staff/bartenders in order to ensure timely delivery of food/drinks
• Ensure all tables are properly set up with condiments, cutlery, napkins etc. as required by the restaurant standards
• Prepare tables for meals; make sure they are clean before new customers arrive.
• Serve food/drinks promptly after preparation is complete; check the quality of dishes before serving them
• Clear away dirty plates/glasses as soon as guests have finished their meal; wipe down tables after each customer leaves
• Check on customers’ satisfaction throughout their meal; respond quickly to any requests or complaints • Follow health & safety regulations when handling food items; keep work area clean & organized at all times • Stock up on supplies such as napkins, cutlery etc.; replenish drinks if necessary • Assist other staff members when needed (e.g. help with deliveries)

Qualifications: • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel setting • Excellent customer service skills with an eye for detail • Ability to multitask effectively & work in a fast-paced environment • Knowledge of food safety regulations is essential • Must be able to stand for long periods of time & lift heavy trays
