Position: Welder

Job Description:
We are looking for a Welder to join our growing team in Jeddah. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and assembling components of various materials, such as steel, aluminum, and cast iron. This role is open to both local and foreign applicants with at least minimal work experience in welding.

Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints and drawings and take measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements).
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded together.
• Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces together or hold them in place using tack welds when necessary.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
• Inspect welds and ensure that they meet standards or specifications before moving on to the next stage of production.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a welder with at least minimal work experience in welding is required.
• Good understanding of different metals and alloys used in construction materials such as cast iron, aluminum, steel etc.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings accurately
• Knowledge of welding techniques, tools/equipment, safety standards etc.
