Job Title: Accountant
Location: Al-Kuwait
Salary: 1200 KD

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial records of the company, such as budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on financial performance. He or she will also be expected to provide advice and support to management on financial matters. The successful candidate must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work independently as well as within a team environment.

Responsibilities
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other analysis.
• Develop and maintain accurate budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor cash flow by tracking transactions and analyzing variances from budgeted amounts.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends or discrepancies in order to make informed decisions about the business.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
• Prepare tax returns in accordance with government regulations.
• Provide guidance on business decisions based on sound financial analysis.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable processes to ensure accuracy of invoices/payments/collections.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required; CPA certification is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience working as an Accountant or similar role is required; experience working with international businesses is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other applicable laws/regulations; experience with ERP systems is desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills are essential; ability to prioritize tasks is necessary for success in this role.
