We are currently looking for a Librarian to join our team in Dubai. This position offers an attractive salary of 1600. We are open to considering candidates from abroad.

As a Librarian, you will be responsible for providing library services to our customers. You will be the primary contact for all inquiries about library materials and services, and you will identify and fulfill customer needs by recommending relevant materials and services. Additionally, you will be responsible for organizing and cataloging library resources, managing book loans, helping with research requests, developing library policies and procedures, attending library events, and coordinating volunteers. You will also be responsible for maintaining the electronic cataloging system of the library as well as providing support to other staff members as needed.

To be successful in this role you should have a bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a related field as well as experience working in a library setting. You should also have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills are also required in order to provide quality customer service and interact with staff members effectively. Knowledge of current cataloging practices and familiarity with digital technology is beneficial but not required.
