Job Title: Sommelier - Dubai

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Salary: 1400 AED/month (foreigners considered)

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Sommelier to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passionate interest in wines and spirits, as well as an exemplary knowledge of the different varieties, brands, and prices.

The main duties of the Sommelier will be to select and recommend wines to our guests, conduct tastings and pairings with food selections, provide knowledgeable advice on wine selection and storage, maintain wine lists with updated prices, and restock inventory. Additionally, this role is expected to offer wine education classes to staff members and guests.

To be successful in this role you must have a minimum of two years’ experience working as a Sommelier in a professional setting. You should possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written; a strong customer service aptitude; good organizational skills; show attention to detail; have good knowledge of food & beverage trends; be able to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends; be comfortable working in high-pressure environments; be knowledgeable about health & safety regulations.
