Mechanical Engineer - Doha, Qatar

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical engineering design and project management and be able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Design and develop mechanical systems including structural components, materials selection, and manufacturing processes
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, sketches, diagrams, and other documentation
• Analyze product requirements and design solutions to meet customer needs
• Develop cost estimates for new projects and changes to existing products or systems
• Develop project plans with timelines for completion of design work
• Utilize CAD software to generate designs as needed
• Work with the manufacturing department to ensure that products are manufactured according to specifications
• Monitor product performance throughout development cycle and adjust as needed
• Coordinate with other personnel such as suppliers, vendors, customers, etc.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required
• 5+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering design/project management required
• Expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of materials selection and manufacturing methods/processes
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Salary: 1000 QAR per month
