Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified Accountant to join our team in Haur-Fakkan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accounting services, including preparation and analysis of financial statements, accounts receivable and payable, taxes, payroll, budgeting and internal control. The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and experience with financial software. The salary is 1600 AED per month.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial statements and reports as required by management
• Ensure accuracy of the financial information reported
• Track accounts receivable/payable activities
• Maintain ledgers for all appropriate accounts
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly closing entries
• Assist with tax return preparation
• Compile and analyze data for budgets
• Assist with audits as needed
• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accurate record keeping
• Create reports as needed for management decision making

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
• Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) preferred
• Experience with financial software such as QuickBooks or Sage Peachtree preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel
• Detail-oriented; organized; analytical; problem-solver
• Ability to multitask; manage multiple projects simultaneously
