Job Vacancy for a Surveyor in Haur-Fakkan

Job Responsibilities
• Planning and conducting surveys of land, sea or air space according to requirements and regulations
• Measuring distances and angles between points on land using equipment such as theodolites, GPS or GIS technology
• Collecting data for use in maps, charts or reports that show land forms, boundaries or other relevant features of the surveyed area
• Interpreting survey results to determine boundaries and elevations of properties using mathematical calculations and sketches
• Preparing reports on results of surveys for use by engineers, architects or other professionals

Qualifications
• Degree/diploma in surveying or related field is required
• Proven experience in surveying (at least 3 years) is preferred • Knowledge of survey instruments such as total stations, GPS systems etc. is essential • Good understanding of mathematics, geometry and geospatial sciences is necessary • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential • Excellent communication skills are required • Ability to work in challenging conditions is preferred
