We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting eye examinations and providing advice on visual problems, prescribing appropriate medication or other treatments. This role involves assessing patient’s vision, diagnosing any sight-related issues and advising on the most suitable corrective measures. The Optometrist must be able to accurately diagnose any underlying conditions that may affect a patient’s vision and recommend relevant tests or refer them to specialized medical professionals. The successful candidate will also need to provide advice on the selection of eyewear, contact lenses and other vision aids, as well as providing information about general eye health and safety practices.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Optometry (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years work experience in the field. They should also possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized and have great customer service skills. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential for this role. We are ready to consider an immigrant candidate with the right qualifications.
