Job Description:
- Conduct surveys and prepare detailed reports for clients or internal use
- Use surveying tools such as Total Station, Global Positioning System (GPS), AutoCAD, etc. to accurately measure land areas and structures
- Prepare maps, diagrams, sketches, or drawings for property boundaries or topography
- Prepare survey documents such as legal descriptions and deeds based on survey results
- Advise clients on the best courses of action for any land disputes or boundary issues
- Monitor survey progress regularly and update clients on the findings of surveys


Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field preferred but not required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a surveyor in a professional setting preferred but not required
- Excellent knowledge of surveying instruments such as Total Station, Global Positioning System (GPS), AutoCAD etc.
- Good understanding of survey regulations and legislation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
