Job Title: Sommelier
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: AED 1000/month

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sommelier to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the selection, purchase, storage and service of wines in our restaurant.

Responsibilities:
• Advise customers on wine selection based on their individual tastes.
• Create wine lists and wine menus for the restaurant.
• Monitor stock levels and order new wines when required.
• Ensure proper storage of all wines and food items.
• Ensure that all staff is knowledgeable about the wines we serve and can provide accurate advice to customers.
• Develop relationships with wine suppliers to secure excellent prices on quality products.
• Educate staff about the different types of wines available and their characteristics.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Sommelier or similar role in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of wine production, flavor profiles, viticulture, winemaking techniques, regulations and pricing trends.
• Ability to stay updated on industry trends regarding new products and vendors.
• Excellent knowledge of food-wine pairings and cocktails.
• Outstanding customer service skills with an eye for detail.
