As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing transactions, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for helping customers with banking inquiries and other financial services related questions. Responsibilities
As a Bank Teller, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Process customer deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers and check cashing
• Handle account maintenance requests such as address/name changes
• Provide customers with accurate information on financial services products including savings and checking accounts as well as other services offered by the bank
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions carried out at the teller window
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all regulations related to banking operations including Anti Money Laundering (AML) regulations
• Assist customers with any queries or complaints they may have about their account or banking services
• Ensure compliance with internal policies as well as applicable laws and regulations regarding financial transactions

Qualifications & Skills
We are searching for someone who is highly organized and has excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in retail or banking industries preferred but not required • Knowledge of banking products & services would be beneficial • Good understanding of basic accounting principles & practices • Ability to use computerized systems & software applications • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Strong numeracy skills & attention to detail • Professional attitude & strong communication skills • Excellent customer service orientation
