Welder job vacancy in Doha Qatar


We are currently seeking a Welder for an immediate opening in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate should have basic welding and fabrication skills. We will consider an immigrant for this position.

Responsibilities of the Welder include:
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications and other instructions to determine the required welds and techniques to use.
• Inspect work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as MIG/MAG, TIG welding and arc welding, following all safety guidelines.
• Assemble components by bolting, clamping, or tack-welding parts as needed.
• Monitor the fitting and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion or expansion of material.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification from a trade school is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to read technical documents including blueprints and diagrams.
• Knowledge of various types of metals used for welds such as steel/stainless steel/aluminum/etc.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time in hot environments while wearing protective gear such as helmets & gloves.
• Good manual dexterity & physical strength required for handling heavy material & tools used in the welding process.

Salary: 1800 QAR per month
