• Good knowledge of masonry tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations

• Ability to follow instructions precisely

Job Duties:
• Lay bricks, concrete blocks, or stones according to designs or instructions
• Measure joints and mark guidelines on walls/floors prior to installing masonry units
• Install masonry units in accordance with design specifications

• Smooth and spread mortar using trowels or other tools
• Clean the work area after completing the job
