Job Summary

We are looking for a Psychiatrist to join our team in Doha. The Psychiatrist will provide mental health care services and diagnose and treat mental illnesses. A successful candidate must be patient-focused, compassionate and have excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100 per month. We are open to considering an immigrant for this role.

Responsibilities
• Evaluate mental health needs of patients through interviews and testing
• Diagnose mental illness through physical exams and laboratory tests
• Develop individualized treatment plans that may include psychotherapy, medication or other treatments
• Monitor patient progress during treatment and adjust as necessary
• Provide advice and support to patients’ families

Qualifications
• Doctoral degree in psychiatry from an accredited university/college
• Valid medical license in the state where the job is based
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen carefully and explain complex concepts clearly

Salary: 1100 per month
