Job Responsibilities:
- Keeping accurate records of invoices, payments, and other documentation related to accounting activities.
- Preparing financial statements and reports for management or external stakeholders.
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends or discrepancies that could indicate potential issues or opportunities for improvement.
- Developing strategies for improving financial performance by streamlining processes or identifying areas for cost reduction.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts in order to ensure that the organization is operating within its allocated resources.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate data is recorded in accounting systems and compliance with applicable regulations is met at all times.
- Providing guidance on best practices related to finance and accounting processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred but not required - At least 1 year of experience working as an accountant - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of QuickBooks preferred but not required - Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work both independently as well as collaborate effectively as part of a team
