Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Barista to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, as well as providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be highly organized and have experience working in a fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive salary of 1100 for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing quality beverages at all times. Your duties will include taking orders from customers, preparing drinks according to standard recipes, maintaining the cleanliness of the café equipment and premises at all times, stocking supplies such as coffee beans, syrups and other beverage items as needed, ringing up orders accurately into the cash register system or point of sale system and ensuring that all transactions are completed correctly. You will also provide friendly service to our guests by engaging in conversations with them whenever possible and addressing any complaints they may have in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have 1-2 years of prior experience working as a Barista or in a similar role in a café or restaurant setting. A high school diploma or equivalent is required along with basic math skills to calculate charges correctly. You should also possess strong knowledge of different types of coffee preparation methods – latte art is preferred – as well as good communication skills to effectively interact with customers.

Skills:

In order to excel in this role you must possess excellent customer service skills along with knowledge of health codes related to food safety and sanitation practices. You should also possess strong organizational skills to efficiently manage your tasks during busy periods and multitask when necessary. A keen eye for detail is important when preparing drinks correctly according to recipes, while time management skills are essential to ensure that orders are fulfilled promptly during peak hours.
