The primary duties of the Data Analyst include collecting data from multiple sources, interpreting it, and presenting it in an understandable form; developing models or algorithms to analyze large sets of data; creating reports based on findings; and presenting conclusions to stakeholders. Additionally, the Data Analyst will need to identify areas of improvement for the organization’s current systems and processes.

The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience working with large data sets. They must also be comfortable working with various software applications such as Excel, SQL, Python or R. A degree in mathematics or statistics is preferred but not required. Excellent problem-solving skills are essential as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment is essential for this position.
