Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will work with the dentist to provide quality care to patients and will help keep the dental office running efficiently. The position is full-time and is offering a salary of 1700 per month. We are willing to consider an immigrant for this role.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist the dentist during treatments by providing instruments, material, suctioning etc.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and stocking supplies
• Take x-rays of patients’ teeth as directed by the dentist
• Instruct patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care measures
• Schedule patient appointments, receive payments, enter data into computer software etc.
• Maintain patient records such as medical history, checkup reports, treatments provided etc.
• Ensure all dental instruments are properly sterilized before each patient use

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant for at least 1 year or equivalent training/certification in dental assisting or related field required. • Excellent knowledge of dental materials, equipment and systems required. • Knowledge of basic dental terminology preferred. • Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail required. • Proficient in using computers including electronic charting software required • Ability to build positive relationships with patients preferred • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written required • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality concerning all patient information required
