Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing and repairing structures, furniture and other items made from wood and other materials.

Responsibilities:
• Constructing, installing and repairing wooden structures such as walls, windows frames, doors frames and roof trusses.
• Installing trim such as baseboards, crown moldings and picture rails.
• Assembling furniture including cabinets, tables and chairs.
• Measuring and cutting various materials to size according to specifications.
• Finishing carpentry projects with paint or varnish.
• Inspecting installations to ensure that they meet building codes and safety regulations.
• Maintaining tools in good condition and replacing worn out parts when necessary.
• Interpreting blueprints or instructions to determine job requirements.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in a construction environment is required; minimum 3 years of experience preferred
• Knowledge of proper carpentry techniques including the use of tools such as saws, hammers, drills etc.
• Ability to interpret blueprints or instructions accurately for job completion; experience with reading diagrams is ideal
• Excellent problem solving skills; ability to find creative solutions for difficult tasks
• Strong attention to detail; must ensure accuracy when working with measurements
• Physical stamina; must be able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis
