Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and creative Executive Chef to join our team at a five-star restaurant in Riyadh. The Executive Chef will be responsible for managing the day-to-day kitchen operations of the restaurant with a focus on creating innovative and delicious dishes in an efficient and timely manner. The successful candidate must have a strong culinary background and is expected to have minimal work experience. This position offers a competitive salary of 1300 SAR per month.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the kitchen, including planning, organizing and controlling activities to ensure quality food products and services are provided in a timely manner
• Develop menus with cost efficiency in mind while maintaining quality standards
• Ensure that all health codes, sanitation regulations, food safety protocols are followed
• Monitor inventory levels of food products and ingredients and order as needed
• Train kitchen staff on proper techniques in preparation, cooking, presentation, sanitation and safety
• Implement operational strategies that align with the restaurant's objectives
• Supervise cooks in preparation of meals according to recipes
• Quality control of all dishes before they leave the kitchen
• Handle customer complaints or inquiries regarding food quality or service delivery

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role; international experience considered an advantage
• Knowledgeable about various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff to reach high standards
