Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Barista to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee drinks according to company recipes, operating brewing equipment, and providing excellent customer service. The salary for this position is 1200 AED with possibility of relocation depending on the applicant’s experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, handle payments and provide accurate change;
• Prepare coffee beverages according to company recipes;
• Operate brewing equipment to prepare espresso-based drinks such as cappuccinos, lattes, macchiato etc.;
• Ensure that all beverages are prepared consistently and in a timely manner;
• Monitor stock of milk, sugar, tea leaves etc., and report low stock levels;
• Maintain cleanliness of work area including counter tops utensils and equipment;
• Adhere to health safety standards at all times;
• Provide friendly customer service at all times.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Barista or similar role;
• Knowledge of espresso based coffee drinks preparation; • Working knowledge of coffee brewing systems such as espresso machines; • Understanding of basic barista skills such as grinding beans etc.; • Ability to listen effectively and communicate with customers clearly; • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
