Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pharmacist in a retail, hospital or clinical setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of pharmaceuticals and other health care products.
• Ability to speak, read and write English fluently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to consider an immigrant for the position.

Duties:
• Dispense medications as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners.
• Monitor patient drug therapies by reviewing patient profiles for drug interactions, allergies, dosage accuracy and duplication of therapy.
• Educate patients on the proper use of their medications as well as potential side effects or allergic reactions they may experience from their medications.
• Maintain records of all prescriptions filled by recording the name, address and age of the patient; drug name; dosage; quantity supplied; physician's name; date filled; expiration date; cost; payment method, etc.
• Provide advice on drug therapy management to patients and health care professionals as needed.
• Maintain inventory control by ordering drugs, supplies and other products as needed for the pharmacy operations while ensuring cost effectiveness for each purchase made.
