Optometrist - Khawr Fakkan

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Optometry or related field
• Registration with the Ministry of Health and Prevention
• Minimum 1 year experience as an optometrist or ophthalmologist
• Fluency in English and Arabic (preferred)
Duties:
• Perform eye examinations including refraction, contact lens fitting, and testing for visual acuity, color perception, depth perception, near point of accommodation etc.
• Analyze test results and diagnose vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism.
• Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses as necessary; provide instruction on usage and care.
• Refer patients to ophthalmologists if further treatment is needed.
• Monitor patients' progress through follow-up visits; adjust prescriptions as needed.
