Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general carpentry duties, including the installation and repair of cabinets, doors, windows, and other wooden structures. The ideal candidate should have excellent experience in woodworking techniques with a good understanding of different types of tools and materials. He/she must be able to read blueprints and drawings accurately, have good problem-solving skills, and demonstrate great attention to detail.

The Carpenter will report directly to the Construction Manager. This is a full-time position providing a salary of 1200 per month. We are open to applicants from immigrant backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints or drawings to calculate material requirements or dimensions
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler or measuring tape
• Cut materials with saws or other power tools
• Assemble parts with nails, screws, staples or glue
• Construct window frames, doors, wall paneling’s and other structures
• Install cabinets, doors, door frames and moldings
• Use various hand-held power tools such as circular saws or jig saws
• Sand the wooden surfaces after installation
• Perform regular maintenance on tools and equipment used in carpentry work

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Carpenter (minimum 2 years)
• Ability to read blueprints accurately
• Good understanding of woodwork techniques
• Ability to use different types of tools including hand-held power tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
