• Knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques

Job Duties:
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencils, squares, etc.
• Cut materials such as wood, plastic, drywall, roofing shingles, etc. using saws and other tools.
• Install structures including floor joists, roof trusses, window frames, etc.
• Assemble furniture such as cabinets, tables, chairs, shelves, etc. using glue and screws.
• Inspect building structures for defects or signs of wear.
• Repair furniture or other items by replacing broken parts or reinforcing weak joints.
