We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled professional who is passionate about providing excellent eye care services and creating a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and vision screenings
• Evaluate patients’ vision, diagnose eye diseases or disorders, and prescribe corrective lenses
• Counsel patients on their vision needs and best practices for maintaining healthy eyesight
• Utilize specialized equipment such as visual fields analyzers and retinal cameras to diagnose diseases
• Keep accurate records of patient visits and diagnoses
• Educate patients on preventative measures to maintain healthy eyesight
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in optometry through continuing education activities

Requirements:
• Must hold an optometry degree from an accredited university or college
• At least 1-2 years’ experience working as an optometrist in a clinical setting preferred but not required • Must hold a valid license to practice optometry in Qatar or be willing to obtain one • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people of all ages • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred but not required • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is highly beneficial • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends when needed

Salary: The salary for this position is 1500 QAR per month. We are also open to considering immigrants for this role.
