Position: Instrument Technician

Location: Al-Kuwait
Salary: 1200 KD/month

We are looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate should have a high level of expertise in the maintenance, calibration and installation of various industrial instruments. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining, calibrating and troubleshooting all types of industrial equipment including pumps, valves, motors, pressure gauges and flow meters.
• Installing new instruments and equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions.
• Testing instruments for accuracy and reliability using specialized test equipment.
• Ensuring that all safety measures are followed while working with hazardous chemicals or gases.
• Writing reports detailing instrument performance results.
• Performing repair or replacement of faulty components as needed.
• Identifying potential problems or areas for improvement in instrumentation systems.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Technology or related field preferred; alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with industrial instruments in a maintenance capacity preferred; alternatively, experience working on electronic components or wiring may also be considered desirable.
• Excellent problem solving skills; ability to think through complex issues from multiple perspectives.
