Job Description:
We are looking for a Carpenter to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing wooden structures, furniture, and other objects made from wood. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
• Cut materials to size required for job using hand tools (e.g., saws) or power tools (e.g., electric saws).
• Construct wooden structures according to specifications.
• Install fixtures such as doors and windows in buildings using hand tools or power tools.
• Install hardware such as hinges, handles, locks in doors using hand tools or power tools.
• Shape and finish wood surfaces with sanders and other carpentry tools.
• Repair furniture pieces when needed by replacing broken parts or reassembling it completely from scratch.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in carpentry as either an apprentice or journeyman carpenter is preferred but we are willing to consider applicants with no experience who have a passion for learning the trade.
• Ability to read blueprints/ diagrams of finished products; understanding the process of fabrication from design drawings is essential.
• Ability to use a variety of power tools (e.g., electric saws) safely and accurately; knowledge of how to use hand tools (e.g., saws) is also necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot problems quickly with creative solutions that save time and money is key in this role.

Salary: 1500 KWD
