Pharmacist – Abu-Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and provision of pharmaceutical services to patients and customers in accordance with standards and regulations.

Job Description:
• Ensure accuracy of medication prescribed by physicians and dispensed by pharmacy staff.
• Prepare, fill, compound and dispense prescriptions as per doctors’ instructions.
• Provide advice to customers on the selection of appropriate medication for their needs.
• Maintain accurate records of medications provided to customers and ensure proper storage conditions are met.
• Monitor patient drug therapies by reviewing prescriptions and verifying that prescribed drugs will not adversely affect any existing medical condition or interact adversely with other drugs being taken by the patient.
• Provide information on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage.
• Keep up to date with new medications available on the market, their effects and indications.
• Maintain a clean pharmacy area at all times.

Demands for the Candidate:
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution is required.
• 3 years of experience as a Pharmacist is preferred.
• Knowledge of current pharmaceutical trends, processes, products, equipment and services is essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and other healthcare professionals both verbally & in written form is essential.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail are necessary for this role.

Salary: 1600 AED per month
