We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in civil engineering works, and a university degree in civil engineering. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and monitoring construction projects such as roads, bridges, dams and buildings. You will need to prepare plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software; ensure that projects comply with building regulations; inspect sites to ensure compliance with design specifications; calculate costs for materials and labour; manage budgets; liaise with contractors and other professionals; analyze data using mathematical models; monitor progress during construction phases; and attend meetings to discuss progress or problems. In addition, you must stay up-to-date with changes in engineering technology so that designs are optimized.
