JAVA Developer job vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE


We are looking for a creative and experienced JAVA Developer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate must be able to create and maintain Java applications that are both effective and appealing.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Writing clean, high-quality code that is maintainable, efficient and secure.
• Identifying performance issues, bottlenecks and debugging applications.
• Performing code reviews to ensure standards are met.
• Developing application programming interfaces (APIs).
• Cooperating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic.
• Understanding the needs of the business and providing technical solutions that fit those needs.
• Working collaboratively with other developers, designers, system administrators and stakeholders/business development staff.
• Troubleshooting, testing and maintaining codebase for optimal performance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Java Developer or similar role; more than two years is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts such as inheritance, polymorphism and abstraction.
• Proficient in web development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery/AngularJS/ReactJS etc..
• Understanding of modern architectures like microservices or SOA (Service Oriented Architecture).
• Familiarity with databases like MongoDB or Oracle MySQL; ability to write complex SQL queries is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with an aptitude for problem solving; ability to adopt new technologies quickly is also essential.
