Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and friendly Crane Operator to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate should be able to operate a crane safely and efficiently in order to carry out all the necessary tasks. The successful applicant should have the necessary physical abilities and technical knowledge to use the crane correctly.
Responsibilities:
• Operate a crane to move, lift, and place materials into position for construction or other projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and instructions for operating crane.
• Inspect the crane before each operation for any potential safety concerns or malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate records of time worked, loads lifted, etc., as required by company policies.
• Follow all safety regulations when operating a crane and work in a safe manner at all times.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Crane Operator or similar position with references from previous employers available upon request.
• Certificate of qualification in Operating Heavy Machinery from an accredited institution is required.
• Good knowledge of hoisting techniques and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Physical strength and stamina are essential for this role as manual labor may be involved at times.
• Ability to work well under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
