We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate for this position should possess excellent analytical skills and have a strong understanding of accounting principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of financial management, which includes bookkeeping, preparation of financial reports, and budget evaluations.

Job Description:
• Responsible for maintaining ledger accounts and preparing financial statements;
• Analyze financial information, reconcile accounts, prepare invoices and payments;
• Record transactions into accounting software;
• Ensure accuracy in all entered data;
• Prepare tax returns and other required documents;
• Monitor accounts receivable/payable activity and cash flow;
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to discuss financial matters;
• Maintain compliance with local laws/regulations regarding taxation and accounting.

Needs for the Candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field (or equivalent experience);
• Proven experience as an accountant;
• Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail;
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word);
• Knowledge of general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process;
• Working experience with accounting software platforms (e.g. QuickBooks);

Salary: 1300 QAR
