Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Land Surveyor to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing surveying tasks, collecting data, and producing accurate maps and drawings. This role will require the applicant to have a keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

Duties:
• Analyze existing maps, aerial photography, survey measurements, or other data to identify land features such as boundaries, contours, roads and drainage systems.
• Utilize survey instruments such as total stations, levels or electronic distance meters to measure angles, elevations and distances of land features.
• Prepare detailed sketches or maps of surveyed areas using information collected on site.
• Prepare legal documents such as deeds or property descriptions.
• Monitor construction sites to ensure that the work is done according to plan specifications and applicable regulations.
• Record data in a GIS database for later retrieval and analysis.
• Provide advice on best practices in land surveying techniques or the use of equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in surveying engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Certification from a recognized professional body (such as LSIT) is an asset but not required.
• Excellent knowledge of surveying principles and techniques; both manual and digital methods of measurement are required.
• Strong understanding of mathematics, geometry and trigonometry principles.
• Proficiency with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS) is preferred but not required; experience with CAD software is also beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ability to interpret legal documents pertaining to land boundaries/ownership rights in Kuwait; knowledge of local regulations regarding surveying work is an advantage but not a must-have requirement .
Salary: 1000 KD per month
