They must also have detailed knowledge of restaurant operations and the ability to manage staff effectively.

The main responsibilities of the Restaurant Manager include: overseeing daily restaurant operations; maintaining high standards of customer service; managing staff scheduling; training new employees; resolving customer complaints; ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to; creating attractive menus; controlling stock levels; controlling budget costs; and driving sales.
