Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients, including diagnosis and treatment of ocular illnesses, conducting exams, and prescribing corrective lenses. You should have excellent interpersonal skills to build long-term relationships with patients and their families.

Requirements:

Applicants must be licensed Optometrists in Doha with a degree from an accredited college or university. We prefer applicants who have experience working in an optometric practice, however we are open to considering recent graduates. Familiarity with the latest medical technology is preferred but not required. Fluency in English is essential as you will be working with native English-speaking patients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The primary duties of an Optometrist include conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing ocular diseases and disorders, prescribing corrective eyewear and contact lenses, advising patients on general eye care topics such as diet and nutrition, and referring patients to specialists if needed. You should also maintain accurate records of patient visits and treatments while adhering to all relevant healthcare laws and regulations. In addition, you will be responsible for providing patient education on preventative measures that can help maintain healthy vision throughout their life.
